Holy Jojoba!
One of our favorite ingredients at Om Aroma & Co. is jojoba oil. The product of a shrub native to the American Southwest, Jojoba oil is technically a liquid wax esther and not
an oil at all. It is naturally antibacterial and antifungal, and almost exactly the same ph as our skin, which means it doesn't spoil, clog pores or cause sensitivity and irritation. These qualities make it a perfect base for our Organic Sweet Baby Oil. It's shocking to think about how many people slather their newborns in petrochemicals and synthetic fragrances...Mineral oil is a byproduct of gasoline distillation!
Jojoba oil isn't just for infants, however. It's an excellent eye makeup remover, a wonderful split end treatment, and great for getting a close, silky shave (the lavender essential oils in it also make it antibacterial, so they help prevent shaving rash!). It's also wonderful for massage, and it smells divine.
Smooth some of our L'Huile Douce Organic Baby Oil on after a steamy shower then massage the remnants into your split ends and onto your dried cuticles. Talk about luxury multi-tasking!
